Curve Deform Any Mesh, Geometry Nodes Blender 3.1+
In this file, I have put together a geometry node setup, for use in blender 3.1+, to curve deform any mesh, not randomly(using randon value node or texture nodes), not mathematically(using complex math nodes), but intentionally, intuitively & imaginatively, without bothering much about the underlying math.
The workflow is non-destructive & generative so as to create multiple variations of the curved mesh.

There are six examples of the curved meshes as shown in the appended image. Also included is animation settings for the animation shown in appended video.
